SUMMARY:
Responsible for general labor functions for cranberry marshes. Employee will perform manual work associated with planting, cultivating, irrigation, and harvesting of cranberries. The employee will also perform general care and upkeep of the ranch facilities and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing duties as assigned on a daily basis by the Marsh Manager or Foreman.
- Effective, efficient, orderly and timely farming operations including irrigation and frost watch with frequent oversight from the Marsh Manager or Foreman.
- Assisting other employees in performing their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Promptly reporting problems or successes, and any other reports required by Marsh Manager.
- Following company safety policies and procedures.
- Operation and daily maintenance of farming equipment used on the property with oversight from the Marsh Manager or Foreman.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year experience in farming and equipment operation required.
- Must be able to work well with management and communicate well with others.
- Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable with company’s commercial carrier.
- Qualified Applicators License is preferred.
- First Aid Training is preferred.
- Completion of drug testing prior to start and complying with the company's drug and alcohol policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Requires working outdoors, in all weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, plus occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Performing the essential functions of this job may require the incumbent to: work with and/or around hazardous materials; perform lifting and bending; or be exposed to unpleasant or hazardous conditions or substances in the field, such as heat, exhaust, or chemicals.

Salary range is expected to be between
$31,200.00 USD - $52,000.00 USD
