Job Title: Real Estate – ESG, Associate
This professional will join Blackstone Real Estate’s Asset Management ESG team in New York. The
Associate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Global Real Estate ESG Team, including production and oversight of real estate ESG data and reporting and project management of portfolio ESG initiatives and insights that support the execution of workstreams across the Real Estate ESG team. This work will involve the tracking, consolidation, reporting and distillation / presentation of information and insights across all real estate sectors and strategies globally. This professional will work closely with Blackstone Real Estate legal & compliance, finance, investor relations, asset management, technology, corporate ESG and Revantage to deliver compelling analysis and analytics to support the business. This professional will employ a range of skill sets, with primary areas of responsibility including:
• Work collaboratively with Real Estate ESG team members and Blackstone colleagues globally to support a wide range of projects including analyzing implementation and reporting, producing insights, managing technology enhancements and tracking the RE ESG program
• Develop and maintain project timelines, business requirements, templates and trackers to support initiatives as well as the growth and management of the Global Real Estate ESG team
• Oversee process for the timely execution of accurate external-facing investor communications including responses to investor due diligence questions, presentations and case studies that highlight best practices across our real estate portfolio and annual ESG reporting
• Compile and analyze metrics, track progress and develop summary presentations on ESG program accomplishments for key stakeholders
• Support GRESB reporting for the Global Real Estate Platform
• Collaborate and liaise with colleagues in Revantage to help ensure accuracy and consistency of real estate ESG data and reporting globally by defining, implementing and overseeing reporting policies, processes, templates and controls
• Support preparation for speaking engagements in a manner that clearly and concisely communicates the ESG program strategy, goals and achievements
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a real estate or project-management related role
- Prior work experience in real estate private equity, investor relations, consulting, ESG or a comparable data analytics or reporting role preferred
- Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, resourcefulness and ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel with the ability to write effectively and produce concise, visually appealing presentations
- The ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, often under competing deadlines
- Candidate should be enthusiastic, collaborative and someone who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment
- Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn
- Operate with the highest degree of professional integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity

Expected annual base salary range:
$115,000 - $150,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
