Position Summary
Crestline’s Client Partnership Group (CPG) is growing its talent pool within the dedicated Product Specialist team to support the Firm’s continued evolution as an industry leader in Alternative Credit. The Product Specialist team plays a pivotal role in capital raising and client service at the intersection of distribution and investment management. CPG is looking to hire a highly motivated analyst to join this high-performing, fast-paced and collaborative team.
As an analyst, you will support the firm’s private credit product specialists in delivering comprehensive information and expertise on our firm's strategies and funds to clients. You will be tasked with producing reports on fund performance on a quarterly and ad hoc basis, compiling data and analysis for ongoing investor due diligence, and assisting with the development of new marketing materials and presentations. Critical thinking, attention to detail and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel are essential in this role. This role will report to a Vice President within the Product Specialist team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare data for investor requests on fund performance, credit metrics of the fund, overviews of fund investments, and fund activity regarding new and realized loans.
- Produce detailed quarterly portfolio presentations for investors, collaborating closely with Asset Management and Operations teams to collate relevant data and compile investor friendly materials.
- Ensure that market and fund-specific data within existing materials are updated/maintained on a quarterly or ad-hoc basis.
- Utilize strong PowerPoint skills to contribute to the creation and editing of marketing materials that effectively communicate our alternative credit products.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and present data effectively, aiding in the creation of insightful, data-driven client-facing materials.
- Be adaptable and assist with ad-hoc projects, providing support to team members as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience, ideally with a background in investment banking, capital markets, leveraged finance or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear, logical, and critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
