We’re looking for an Architect, IB Operations IT to be aligned with our Settlement & Confirmations Americas Crew to:
- work closely with cross-functional teams to improve (digital) products and journeys iteratively and continuously in line with our Digital Principles and architecture goals
- support our team in identifying and designing suitable architectures in different layers e.g., enterprise architecture, data architecture, solution architecture, technology architecture
- syndicate architectures among pods, crews and streams and ensure these conform to architectural standards; resolve interdependencies and conflicts and maintain a technical roadmap and maintain overview of architectural debt
- manage and maintain architectural decision records (ADRs) and application inventory information
- collaborate with other architects to define architectural goals and standards and manage temporary solutions and debt remediation
- play an active role in consulting product owners on translating OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) into backlog items and include architectural improvements into the roadmap

Your team
You’ll be part of the global IB Operations IT Architecture team. You will be based in New York or Weehawken focusing on architecture for our Settlements & Confirmations Americas Crew. This crew provides IT solutions for our post-trade securities processing in the region.

Your expertise
- experience working as an IT architect with knowledge of securities post trade and US specifics an advantage
- proven delivery of architectural artifacts (current and target state, data product landscape)
- experience reviewing proposals against architectural principles and providing architectural leadership
- knowledge of Broadridge BPS/ICI an advantage
- broad exposure/understanding of different architectural and design patterns
- familiarity with agile/iterative/continuous improvement & its application to architecture
- knowledge of cloud concepts/patterns/practices and technologies
- successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
- strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
