Offered Salary: $99,999.90/year
Duties: Oversees and verifies the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of multi-source data. Enhances technology infrastructure for portfolio management leveraging Python, VBA, and MATLAB. Monitors daily trading and operational activities to ensure smooth workflows. Performs daily reconciliations for positions and trades. Proactively identifies and resolves data quality issues. Addresses ad hoc data inquiries. Contributes to the design and testing of new data review systems and reports. Prepares attribution reports, portfolio positioning, and technology enhancements.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics
or
related quantitative field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 1 year of experience with financial markets, trading, and investment operations within multi-asset investment management.
Required Certifications & Skills:
Experience must include 1 year in each of the following skills:
(1) Verifying portfolio investment vehicle data leveraging knowledge of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), derivatives structures, and separate account vehicles, including equity separate accounts, fixed income separate accounts, and balanced separate accounts to ensure data is accurately captured and reconciled to design effective trading strategies and achieve the best pricing and timing;
(2) Creating and maintaining trading model algorithms and portfolio optimization leveraging Python, MATLAB, and VBA to enhance technology infrastructure, automate portfolio optimization processes, and ensure trading activities are executed efficiently and accurately to drive exceptional operational and investment results;
(3) Developing well-diversified alpha-generation strategies leveraging factor investing optimizer to track benchmarks, carefully select assets based on value, size, volatility, and growth and readjust the portfolio to maintain these desired factors and evaluate the use of hedging strategies to mitigate the divergence with any persistent deviations;
(4) Generating comprehensive financial reports, data visualizations, and translate insights into actionable investment strategies employing cutting-edge reporting and visualization tools and technologies leveraging Excel, Terminal, MATLAB, Python, and Oracle to support data-driven investment decision-making and evaluate relative and absolute performance of funds and risk assessment; and,
(5) Conducting real-time monitoring of operational and trading activities leveraging Bloomberg Execution Management System (EMSX), Order Management (OMX), and Launchpad as well as Triton, MATLAB, Python, Excel, and Oracle to oversee quantitative models and trading systems to proactively detect anomalies, swiftly address operational issues, and minimize disruptions, and maintaining operational integrity and mitigate risk.

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
