Voloridge Health is seeking a Health Research Data Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with data vendors. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who displays strong math and analytical skills. You will be as comfortable at the negotiation table as you are working with our legal team to review and critique contracts. Summary of Job Functions
- Work with our research teams and other business partners to understand data needs, evaluate requests to acquire new datasets and make purchasing recommendations
- Serve as primary point of contact for current and potential third-party data providers, setting up meetings, gathering and cataloguing product information
- Track and manage all data received from third parties, and coordinate with internal teams, such as Accounting and Legal, to manage data-related invoices and contracts
- Understand contractual requirements of data vendor agreements, and work with our Compliance department to maintain compliance with those agreements
- Monitor data quality issues identified by strategy teams and other internal clients, and coordinate efforts to resolve issues with data vendors/providers
- Actively search for and screen new data sources to meet the demands of internal clients
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in a health sciences or technical field
- 3 to 5 years of prior experience in an administrative (e.g., accounting, finance, legal), business analyst or project management role
- Experience managing and analyzing multidimensional biomedical and/or health care data
- A proven track record of establishing and managing relationships with external parties
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and tenacious
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for numbers and accuracy
- Exemplary planning and time management skills
- Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, FL office

- Experience with third party data providers

- Familiarity with python, SQL and/or other data management technology/programming languages
