Description
At Preqin, our Business Development department drives our growth, with the Sales Development team at its core. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the initial point of contact for many of our new business prospects, playing a crucial role in shaping our business outcomes. This position offers significant opportunities for personal and professional growth, with limitless career advancement for those who excel.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leverage leading-edge sales and marketing tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and LeadIQ/Lusha to engage with outbound prospects and inbound leads.
- Conduct high-volume prospecting through calls and emails.
- Schedule meetings between qualified leads and Sales Executives.
- Serve as a consultant by understanding the needs of prospective clients and demonstrating how our data can address those needs effectively.
- Collaborate with account executives to deepen your understanding of Preqin’s tools and capabilities as well as enhance your industry knowledge.
- Strategically prospect accounts by identifying key contacts and optimal engagement tactics.
- Achieve monthly demo KPIs while ensuring an excellent experience for prospective customers.
What you’ll bring to us:
- Strong work ethic with eagerness to learn and build connections with prospects.
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LeadIQ, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools.
- Interest in the financial services industry and alternative asset data.
- Curiosity with the ability to ask thorough and targeted questions.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, organized, and dedicated.
- Driven by metrics and committed to exceeding monthly quotas.
