The Team:
The Analyst Team supports the global business development and retention efforts of the institutional, wholesale, and client relations teams within Wasatch. This is accomplished primarily by coordinating and completing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from prospective/existing clients and consultants. Analysts work closely with various business partners to communicate information regarding the firm, product offerings, investment philosophy, product-specific information, and current market trends to prospects, clients, and other key distribution channels globally.
The Role:
The individual will primarily respond to written inquiries and complete questionnaires from consultants, prospects, and clients. This position requires judgment in interpreting questions, using or developing appropriate answers, and creating comprehensive responses for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs. These questionnaires are often data-intensive, and responses frequently include written explanations and clarifications about the data and our investment process. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing qualitative and quantitative information in consultant/industry databases, on fund platforms, and with key data providers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for some of the functions listed below. Development and cross-training will be provided to help the candidate support the business effectively.

Responsibilities- Coordinate and complete high-quality RFPs and DDQs for the firm’s global product offerings promptly and accurately.
- Learn and communicate the investment team’s philosophies, process, product, and positioning to internal and external parties.
- Partner with subject matter experts who span across multiple departments to proactively develop new content and ensure existing content remains current and accurate.
- Apply critical thought, writing style guidelines, and analytical skills to the RFP process.
- Draft and maintain internal and external marketing materials and presentations used in the sales effort and client communications.
- Maintain third-party online databases.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client managers to handle administrative functions, dashboards, reporting, and other routine workflows.
- Various ad hoc requests for both external clients and internal business partners.
- Drive process improvements for productivity and quality enhancement; design solutions to integrate into processes.
- Contribute to various technology and product enhancement initiatives.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, personalities, and broad base coverage.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with knowledge of the financial industry preferred but not required.
- A good team player who collaborates well with internal and external counterparts, is self-motivated, curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Additional technology skills are a plus.
