The Role:
Since its inception, our Real Estate platform has established itself as a leader in private equity real estate, offering flexible capital solutions to investment-grade and creditworthy tenants across asset classes and geographies. We seek to provide investors with predictable current income and the potential for appreciation while focusing on limiting downside risk.
Responsibilities:
The Associate will be responsible for performing a myriad of responsibilities for the acquisitions team as well as support other functions within the organization.
Supporting the due diligence efforts for acquisitions, dispositions and financings associated with single-tenant net lease transactions—including but not limited to gathering real estate sales and leasing comps, analyzing real estate market fundamentals and cap rates, and assessing financing strategies
Conducting financial analysis and modeling on properties, portfolios, tenants, and funds
Preparing marketing presentations for investors and potential sale-leaseback and built-to-suit partners
Compiling investment memorandums and credit underwriting
Supporting investor relations with investor due diligence questions
Reviewing and coordinating the execution and delivery of asset management related materials
Assisting the acquisitions team in sourcing transactions
Qualifications:
2-4 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field
Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and public filings
Highly motivated
Interest in pursuing a career in net lease real estate investing
Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this Chicago based position will be $125,000 to $150,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
