Position Overview:
Sagard is seeking a dynamic and experienced Communication Senior Associate to join our Communications team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing brand integrations, particularly in the context of M&A activities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of brand management, marketing, and communications channels, and project management skills and experience working in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
○ Lead the development and execution of brand integration strategies for M&A transactions
○ Ensure seamless alignment of acquired brands with Sagard's overall brand identity and messaging
○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement brand integration plans effectively
○ Maintain and update the brand architecture and facilitate firmwide alignment and compliance
- Marketing & Communications:
○ Develop and implement 360-degree marketing and communications plans to support business objectives
○ Manage communication and marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
○ Leverage various communication channels to reach target audiences and enhance brand awareness
○ Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute communication strategies
○ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
○ Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing, communications, and brand management
Experience and Qualifications:
○ 5+ years of experience in a communications or marketing role, preferably within the asset management or alternative asset industry
○ Proven track record in managing brand integrations and M&A communications ○ Strong understanding of marketing and communications channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media
○ Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
○ Entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive and results-oriented approach ○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
○ Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
○ Fully bilingual (English and French)
○ Rigorous attention to detail and analytical mindset
