Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking an Operations Analyst with Investment Accounting experience to join our stellar team! You will have the opportunity to collaborate and play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency while supporting our top tier clients.
Responsibilities:
Utilize essential accounting and organizational skills while working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support “buy side” clients
Maintains tight control over the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget;
Ensure that financial controls and investment accounting policies and procedures are maintained, while initiative is required to seek improvement
Ensures that operational teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements.
Builds and maintains strong client relationships and provides day-to-day client advice and support.
Promotes the organization's capabilities to clients, identifies sales opportunities to be forwarded to the account managers and achieves contract extensions or additional business within the account(s). -Performs clerical or administrative, work
Uses administrative, data organizing and coordination skills to complete work
Performs duties according to established procedures
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience working as an Operations Analyst
- Experience in financial industry required-Investment Accounting and Private Equity
- Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
- Uses knowledge of how the team integrates with others to accomplish the team objectives
- Possess a strong knowledge of account workflows (Journalization of investment transactions, cash and investment position reconciliations, and period closes)
- Provides informal guidance and support to more junior team members
- Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures
- Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team; uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
