The Position
- Coordinate weekly in-person and virtual meetings with institutional investors interested in Real Estate Private Equity and Alternative Credit
- Coordinate roadshows and virtual meetings with portfolio managers for Prospect’s Real Estate Private Equity and Alternative Credit products
- Bring in institutional investors to the Real Estate Private Equity fund that Prospect is currently in the market with
- Set up calls and meetings with Institutional Consultants focused on both Real Estate and Alternative Credit with the goal of building long term relationships for Prospect
- Organizing and participating in meetings and events with both existing and potential clients (e.g. roadshows, conferences, one-on-one meetings, events, etc.) within the pension, endowment, foundation, etc. spaces.
- Maintain ad track outreach activity using the firm’s CRM software
- Update senior management regularly on activity, pipeline, and feedback pertaining to all fundraising efforts
- Maintain a quarterly sales plan for contribution to Private Equity fundraise and monitor/report on set fundraising goals
Desired Skills and Experience
- Prior experience fundraising in the Pension/Endowment/Foundation specifically in private equity funds (real estate/real assets experience preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in institutional business development
- Ability to travel ~50% of the time
- Highly commercial, including ability to identify and penetrate large personal rolodex of institutional investors for growth initiatives, setting up several meetings per month
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, problem-solver, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, resilient
- CFA or CAIA or progress toward CFA or CAIA preferred
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $250,000 plus annual discretionary performance-based bonus. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance.
