The Investment Risk & Analytics
Product Specialist, VP is responsible for driving commercialization of existing and new investment analytics products. The candidate will engage with internal and external clients to fully understand the market, competitive landscape, trends, and business needs. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a solid combination of risk, liquidity or ESG analytics subject matter expertise, and consultative sale proficiency to construct solutions and drive revenue through new product concepts from evaluation to production.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the marketplace for competitive positioning and drive innovation through new product exploration.
- Drive new business process including deal pricing, RFP responses, presentations, and develop sales materials to drive revenue growth.
- Actively participate in speaking engagements at industry events, promoting our brand through thought leadership.
- Act as subject matter expert with respect to the product suite and remain close to the customer segment through client interaction to assure satisfaction and relevance of the product to customers evolving needs.
- Develop key global relationships, both internally and externally, to continue advancement of our product suite.
- Collaborate with sales, client relationship, and finance during the sales process to deliver high quality and compelling client proposals in order to win new business mandates.
- Communication of product strategy, including market requirements and opportunities to both internal and external audiences.
- Engage and partner with all strategic clients sharing industry best practices, staying abreast of client service delivery and satisfaction while understanding if there are opportunities to expand services.
- Participate in internal sales and product development working groups.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop relationships inside and outside of an organization
- Strong investment and analytical background
- Ability to conduct effective meetings with clients and prospects and engage in needs identification conversations
- Ability to create compelling demonstrations that display our value proposition
- Ability to travel for client meetings, industry events or to other State Street locations up to 20 - 25% of the time.
- MBA, CFA or CIPM preferred.
- 6+ years of related experience (consulting, investment analytics, solution sales & implementation)

Salary Range
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
