About The Role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.
About The Team
The Business Systems Analyst team are responsible for driving design, managing functionality, and delivery of FIS credit solutions into the global market servicing Financial and Non-Financial industry across North America and Canada. As a Business Systems Analyst you will work with a team of subject matter experts and leaders with over 100 years in the credit space building industry leading applications in a growing market.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency
- Selecting hardware, software and vendors
- Conducting tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct
What You Will Need
- Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles
- A Bachelor’s in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience is desirable
- Typically requires six or more years of demonstrated business systems analysis experience with at least one project as the business systems analyst lead on a “large” project, i.e., a project with duration of more than 6,000 hours or spanning more than 4 months
