Job Purpose:
Cerberus is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player to join its Investor Reporting Team as an Analyst. As an Investor Reporting Analyst, you will be a key member on a team of professionals representing the firm to investors, fund administrators, auditors, regulatory agencies, and counsel.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Play a key role in providing exceptional and responsive client service to the firm’s investors which include pensions, foundations, fund of funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and high net worth individuals.
- Manage and respond to investor inquiries by engaging with various internal departments to collect, compile and deliver data to investors in a timely manner.
- Review and deliver communications to investors (i.e. estimates, investor letters, firm announcements, etc.).
- Oversee the fund closing and investor onboarding process by coordinating review of documents, overseeing investor communication, and reviewing investor AML-KYC with administrators, legal counsel, and internal compliance.
- Collaborate with internal groups at the firm including senior management, accounting, tax, legal, operations and compliance to ensure client and regulatory requirements are satisfied.
- Work closely with the fund administrators and external counsel to process investor transactions (i.e. subscriptions, redemptions, transfers) and review administrator reports (i.e. capital calls, distributions, investor statements).
- Produce investor level reporting required for internal and external counterparty requests, DDQs, RFPs, etc.
- Maintain and enhance the firm’s proprietary database and Investor Reporting processes.
- Strategically enhance and automate team tasks using external and proprietary technology solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of client-facing financial services experience
- Strong understanding of financial markets including but not limited to private equity, hedge funds, credit, and real estate.
- Ability and interest in understanding industry regulatory requirements
- Excellent technology and data skills - ability to understand information/data sourcing into firm’s proprietary database
- Motivated/Independent/Organized- ability to take initiative and multitask under tight deadlines with ample autonomy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience building, working with and maintaining strong investor relationships.
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $80,000.00 and $100,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is often a meaningful portion of the compensation package, and a robust benefits package.
