As an Equities Index Options Trader, you will play a critical role in developing and executing trading strategies for single equity names within Belvedere's Index, ETF, and equity options team. You will leverage your analytical skills, quantitative mindset, and strong market intuition to identify opportunities and manage risk in a dynamic trading environment.

What you'll do- Become a leader in options market-making, while being recognized and compensated for your contributions within the firm.
- Manage and execute tradesin equityoptions markets across multiple products and venues.
- Design, test, and refine market-making strategies for equity products, including identifying inefficiencies and arbitrage opportunities.
- Analyze real-time and historical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in equityvolatility.
- Partner with developers, quants, and other traders to enhance trading tools and algorithms.
- Participate in formal education on quantitative concepts to build your trading knowledge.
- Monitor positions and exposure to ensure risk is appropriately managed and aligned with the firm's goals.
- Constantly seek to improve strategies, processes, and tools for competitive advantage.
What you'll need- 1-3 years of experience in equities index options trading or a related field.
- Experience in automated market making strategies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of equity market structure, pricing, and trading dynamics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with the ability to work with large datasets and develop models.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data quickly.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
