We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, providing a broad range of services that touch on every area of compensation and benefits design, strategy, funding, communication and delivery. While we focus on working with the Fortune 1000, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes.
The Expertise You Have
- 6-10+ years of experience in an equity compensation consulting firm
- Significant equity valuation experience under ASC 718 and stock plan industry knowledge
- A.S.A., F.S.A., E.A., C.E.P. and/or other applicable credentials preferred
The Skills You Bring
- You are knowledgeable in equity program design, legislation, accounting and regulatory requirements (FAS/IAS/SEC/IRC)
- You have proven interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to build relationships at multiple organizational levels
- You have outstanding collaboration skills and demonstrate experience in leading enhanced client relationships
- You have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- You are a leader with self-motivation and determination to succeed
- You have a strong ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
- You have an ability work within budgeted timeframes to maintain client profitability without sacrificing quality
The Value You Deliver
- Providing advice to Chief Financial Officers, Rewards leaders, and Finance/Compensation teams regarding their stock compensation programs and other rewards programs
- Reviewing and leading a variety of recurring and one-time projects including ESPP financial reporting, ESPP design, equity award valuations (i.e., Monte-Carlo simulations for rTSR/TSR, profit interests, options, etc.) and assumption setting, Pay vs. Performance, equity/compensation program design, burn-rate/overhang benchmarking, peer group analysis, etc.
- Independently lead technical accounting, disclosure, and valuation projects related to stock plans and provide project oversight for the team
- Training associates and consultants to ensure continued development of the staff
- Identifying process improvements and working with a team to prioritize and implement improvements to existing projects
- Handling client budgets and setting expectations and client timelines.
- Preparing responses to RFPs and RFIs for new prospects and participate in new business meetings with prospects as needed
- Collaborating with internal business partners across diverse subject areas to develop and implement effective solutions on behalf of our clients
The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$218,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
