COMPANY:
A growing investment management firm with $10B+ AUM focused on credit strategies including Private Credit and Bank debt
Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the implementation and configuration of the Geneva accounting system to align with Portfolio and Fund Management & Reporting, Investor Accounting & Reporting, Shadow Accounting, Reconciliation & Workflow Management, Data Management.
- Customize workflows, templates, and reporting formats within the system
- Migrate data from legacy systems and ensure data integrity during the migration process
- Assess and enhance the performance of existing Geneva configurations to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues with the Geneva platform
- Collaborate with users to develop solutions for complex accounting and reporting requirements
- Integrate Geneva with other systems, such as portfolio management, CRM, or financial reporting tools.
- Support the production of fund accounting reports, including NAV calculations, investor allocations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., U.S. GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working with implementing and updating Geneva accounting/software platform
- Strong background in fund accounting for hedge funds, private equity, or other alternative investments
- Experience with system implementation, configuration, or integration projects
- Advanced proficiency in the Geneva accounting platform, including report generation, data integration, and custom configuration
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and scripting to support system customizations
