Summary: The role of the FundBank Head of IT Services entails overseeing all IT operations. The person will be expert in all technologies & associated infrastructure deployed at FundBank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of all activities required to operate and maintain SaaS based and internal infrastructure required to support the business of the Bank in Cayman
- To provide oversight on the outsourcing relationships with the Cloud Service Providers which will provide services to the Bank.
- Working with the CISO accountable for identifying, mitigating, and reporting relevant information technology and information security risks including regular management reporting to the CIO (Chief Information Officer), and COO (Chief Operating Officer) as well as the Board of Directors
- Accountable for the protection of the information processed by or stored in the information systems.
- Key role in problem, change and incident management. Expertise in a Service Management (ITIL) environment is required.
- Receives and manages escalation from the IT organization regarding alerts that require attention.
- Vendor Management: Manage the relationship from the evaluation, selection, creation of formal arrangements to oversight over ICT related outsourced functions and IT suppliers.
- Participate on the selection, assessment, and monitoring of outsourced service providers.
- Establish and regularly review a fully integrated ICT management framework including risk and incident management aspects in conjunction with the CRO (Chief Risk Officer). The framework is also including regular management reporting to the CIO and COO (Chief Operating Officer) as well as the Board of Directors
- Maintain up to date ICT asset inventory and log together with monitoring of critical ICT operations and vulnerabilities to prevent performance issues.
- Lead of ICT projects and ICT aspects of new projects in coordination with Cayman COO and Group CIO
- Coordinate with the CRO and COO on the business continuity management framework. The objective is to align the design of systems and applications with the business impact analysis of the bank and to be a key contributor in the BCPs (Business Continuity Plans) particularly on cyberattacks threats or failure of third-party providers, testing of critical functions.
- Cultivate, nurture, and retain an IT team capable of meeting current and future business needs through effective selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
