Overview
The Head of Consultant Relations will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with global consultants across all asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Help drive the retention and growth of assets across the business.
- Primary responsibility for establishing and fostering key relationships with OCIO and Research at targeted firms.
- Strategically develop and implement a focused consultant relations effort for assigned firms.
- Work closely with Distribution and Client Solutions to coordinate efforts and foster internal communication. Assure that sales leads generated from consultants are properly assigned and coordinated within the Distribution team.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of our existing products and operational capabilities to successfully position products and services.
- Gather information from consultants to provide feedback to the wider firm to help the business support sales activity and product development.
- Ensure that a consistent unified message is delivered to the consultant community.
- Participate in broader strategic discussions related to business strategy, distribution strategy, competitive positioning, and development of sales and marketing materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years sales experience with the institutional asset management industry
- Direct experience working with global consultants, proven track record of success
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to lead
- Ability to travel
