Job Purpose
The Sr. Advanced Planning Strategist is responsible for consulting with and presenting to wholesalers, financial professionals, attorneys, and CPAs to support Jackson sales. Conducts research and develops marketing materials, presentations, and case illustrations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Communicates complex retirement and wealth strategies to financial, legal and tax professionals and wholesalers.
- Regularly interfaces with financial professionals through phone and virtual meeting software.
- Effectively leverages PowerPoint and marketing materials to deliver sales presentations.
- Interfaces with sales to help prospect and close business.
- Works with team to develop, review, and revise presentations, marketing materials, and white papers.
- Conducts research to support consulting activities and the development of marketing materials.
- Provides training to Sales Desk employees, external wholesalers and other staff.

- Limited travel may be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Advanced designation (such as CFP, CPA, CFA, or JD) required. JD preferred..
5+ years of financial sales, estate planning, legal practice, consultation, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7 required.
