The Role
We are seeking a successful Portfolio Operations Associate who brings attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a growth mindset to this critical role. You will have strong communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset that excels in a fast-paced and evolving organization. You are coachable, and have a willingness to learn our approach to portfolio administration, trade reconciliation and execution, and perform at a high level under variable workloads. As a rapidly growing company, opportunities for internal growth and career development are plentiful. You will report to the Managing Director, Partner in charge of portfolio management.
What You'll Do
- Daily reconciliation of portfolio positioning, trade execution and cash management across all client portfolios
- Implement investment and trades strategies for client accounts
- Performance reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis
- Assist advisors in the preparation of client recommendations and proposals
- Work with the trade team internally and at the custodial level to execute portfolio updates
- Security due diligence
- Work with other teams including Client Service, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations
- Project-based initiatives related to process improvement and implementing new strategies
What You'll Bring
- 2 years’ experience in Financial Services preferred
- Series 7 and 66 licenses are a requirement
- Investment, Trading, or Portfolio Management related Experience desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with Advent, Bloomberg, Black Diamond, Fidelity, and Salesforce desired
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills·
- Team-oriented individual to support a growing advisory practice
