Job Description
The Implementation Consultant provides technical leadership and supports client implementations and upgrades of Linedata’s suite of software applications. Linedata’s product suite covers front to back office products including the MFact, Mshare, Longview OMS, Linedata Compliance, NavQuest, and Linedata Reporting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships with clients and help identify and troubleshoot problems with client implementations and upgrades. This person will possess a strong, technical background including knowledge of software implementation processes. This person will be a key member of the project team working with clients, and a contributing member to the Implementation team as a whole. In this role, you will participate in installation, configuration, system testing, triage, and help research issues that arise during UAT and Go-Live, and may provide assistance to clients when interfacing with other external applications. This role may also involve conducting technical and functional training for designated client IT owners and / or end users of the software.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Actively participate and advise / consult clients through the Implementation and Upgrade process
- Install / upgrade and configure database, client environments, and any additional modules
- Workflow Analysis / Functional Gap Definition, and associated documentation
- Application Testing
- Training (End User & Technical)
- Responsible for learning MFact,MShare, Linedata Reporting along with Linedata Front Office products such as Longview, Linedata Compliance, and Navquest products
- Responsible for learning / understanding client workflow and business requirements of Linedata Product Suite and connected systems
- Recognize and monitor issues that arise during an implementation / upgrade and address or escalate to the appropriate resources to resolve, including helping project leader triage and prioritize issues
- Participate in client and internal status calls to identify timelines and deliverables for projects and execute against those milestones; assist with transition of client to Production Services during Project Closure phase
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience with client implementations of enterprise software solutions
- Must have a passion for enabling clients’ success through your efforts
- Financial industry experience; specific Fund Admin and / or Compliance experience
- Additional experience with Order Management and Trading workflows would be desirable
- Experience with client implementations of software solutions
- Experience working with Oracle and MSSQL based products, understand database objects and structures, and the ability to gather and analyze data in these environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent client and interpersonal relationship management skills
- Superior analytical abilities
- Ability to work in self-directed environment
- Ability to collaborate and contribute to the team
- Available to travel 10-20% of the time
