Specialist, Data Modeler
As part of the Information Technology & Services team within PGIM Private Capital (PPC), we support PPC with both vendor and internally designed applications, processes, and reporting. We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill a data modeler role on this team. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership, and innovation. Your Impact:
- Owning and championing the design and operation of data models in Microsoft Fabric
- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models
- Implementing data strategies and developing data models
- Evaluating, maintaining, and documenting existing data systems for variances and efficiencies
- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility
- Partnering with data engineering to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize data models
- Following and suggesting standards and best practices for development
Your Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant experience in the financial services industry
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience data modeling within Enterprise Data Warehouse (Data Vault 2.0 and data modeling tools like Erwin preferred)
- Business Intelligence visualization tools such as Power BI/ Tableau is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay current with rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $100,000-$115,000 Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
