As Product Manager, Fixed Income, you will lead the strategy and planning for our Fixed Income technology products (PolyPaths, Kynex, and NxCore Analytics Services), ensuring they continue to provide innovative solutions to our customer requirements and shifting market needs. Your responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams such as Engineering, Customer Services, Sales, and Marketing to enhance product features, conduct market research, and analyze competitive products. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver differentiated solutions. This role will entail working closely with the head of the product management team to align the Fixed Income product strategy with our global product portfolio and provide strategic direction for Fixed Income product positioning. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of fixed income markets, project planning experience, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
What You'll Do
- As a member of the product management team, drive and maintain the product roadmap for our Fixed Income product suite.
- Work with Clients, Project Teams and Development Teams to analyze product gaps and enhancement requests, support business analysts drafting technical specifications and prioritize development efforts.
- Engage with key customers to elicit and document requirements using user interviews, requirements workshops, and use cases.
- Serve as business and technical expert to support presales and customer onboarding activities as needed.
- Engage with our global Sales, Customer Services, and Marketing leadership to determine optimal product positioning, pricing, and placement.
- Present updates on and demos of Fixed Income products to customers or internal stakeholders.
- Be an active contributor to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in the Financial Services industry in Structured Finance and Fixed Income. In-depth knowledge of MBS/ABS and all or some of these Fixed Income asset classes – Convertible Bonds, Corporate Bonds, CLOs, CMOs, etc.
- Front or middle office experience at a financial technology vendor, sell-side institution, or hedge fund.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
- Experience using Structured Finance Trading & Risk Management software (in-house / third-party).
- In-depth familiarity with Public and Private Fixed Income instruments, market structure, and relevant Market/Reference Data.
- Knowledge of valuation and risk models for Fixed Income instruments.
- Self-motivated to strive for the success of our products.
- Excellent communication, public speaking skills and a strong interest in working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or a related discipline).
Where You’ll Work
This role is based in New York and will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days a week.
