Position Overview
Blue Owl’s Management Company team is looking for an Associate Controller, who will be responsible for managing financial activities within the organization. Your duties will include financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and collaborating with other departments to maintain accurate records and ensure financial stability.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts for all legal entities.
Prepare BS and P&L analytics with variance commentary on significant balances.
Work directly in training offshore team in India to help scale and streamline processes.
Assist in preparation of tax provisions for different legal entities throughout the company’s structure.
Work on expense allocation process to the funds as well as allocations to other legal entities within the consolidated management company.
Ensure following the internal controls outlined in the Risk Control Matrix that the firm has developed to stay compliant with SOX.
Assist in preparation of financial statement footnotes.
Qualifications:
3 to 6 years of public and/or private accounting experience.
Experience with Microsoft Offer, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe.
CPA or completing all four parts of the exam is a plus, but not required
