Global Markets (GM) Product Manager Vice President (VP) executes a portfolio of initiatives, delivering product and infrastructure to our State Street Global Markets (SSGM) trading business teams. The SSGM Product Management team encompasses all aspects of the business: strategy implementation; design, development and implementation of client facing product, trading infrastructure and operational models; risk oversight metrics and reporting.
This role will work to support trading businesses across Global Markets, including Foreign Exchange Sales and Trading which operates in more than 10 sites globally. The SSGM Product Manager will partner with Technology, Operations, Business Risk, Legal and other business partners to execute initiatives and deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic priorities.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As GM Product Manager VP, you will
- Work with business leaders to implement strategic and tactical initiatives
- Partner with technology, operations and other business partners to deliver product and infrastructure aligned with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to identify product, trading infrastructure and operating models necessary for the successful implementation of strategy and initiatives
- Translate business strategic vision into functional product plans
- Usher product through internal and regulatory governance
- Define product features and develop product overviews, workflows and visual artifacts to crystalize product use, and process owners.
- Work with technology to drive technology solutions and deliverables to meet product requirements
- Manage business partner demand and help resolve competing priorities
- Build relationships with business partners ( i.e. Legal, Compliance, Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) and ensure they understand business needs to create robust and sustainable solutions.
- Become a subject matter expert for the trading businesses across initiatives and projects.
- Understand the full trading flow life cycle and objectives and priorities of the business
- Resolve significant issues or roadblocks working with regional management across the bank as required.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs in order to recommend solutions and options
- Develop and execute projects to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identify and frame risks and issues as well as ensure their timely resolution or escalation
- Define the workflows, processes, policies and procedures utilized to conduct our trading businesses
- Effectively communicate, collaborate and develop relationships with diverse stakeholders with varied interests.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and upcoming changes brought about by competitive, market and or regulatory influences.
What We Value

- Minimum of 7 to 10 years industry experience
- Subject matter expertise in trading and capital markets (FX, Rates, Fixed Income preferred)
- Demonstrated success simultaneously executing multiple projects and business initiatives within complex organizational settings.
- Demonstrate capability to interact, negotiate and influence at all levels of management and across the organizations.
- Outstanding organizational, analytical and consultative abilities.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (MBA preferred)

Salary Range
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
