The Colony Group seeks a motivated and qualified
individual for the position of Associate, Business Operations. In
this role, the individual will work with a team to support the day-to-day
operations of a large financial advisory firm. This is a central seat with
exposure to all aspects of the firm including, but not limited to, Operations
& Technology, Client Service, Wealth Management, and Compliance. The ideal
candidate is a natural leader who is organized, shows attention to detail, is
solution-orientated, and flexible.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Planning and executing logistics around office disruptions such as build outs, moves, reconfigurations;
- Communicating and interfacing with office leadership and advisory teams and initiating proactive follow-through on such action points;
- Manage, maintain, and review office related vendor relationships
- Maintaining and updating databases for multiple technologies, including office security systems, desk booking systems, building management portals;
- Maintaining electronic and physical records and files in an orderly fashion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant career experience
A familiarity with office management and administrative requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and proven ability to learn other software and technology;
- Notable attention to detail, self-initiated follow-through, and outstanding time management and organizational skills;
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to juggle multiple and competing tasks and demands; and
- Willingness and ability to travel 1-2 times monthly.
This is a non-exempt position.
