Altium is looking for an Associate Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. You will support the fixed income team to manage 1000+ separately managed accounts holding municipal bonds, corporate bonds, MBS, government securities, convertible bonds, preferred and other fixed income securities. The candidate will be an integral part of the fixed income team, and assist with portfolio construction, trade execution, allocations, and settlement.

What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the fixed income team to help manage a separately managed account (SMA) platform with over 15 different strategies.
- Assist with research and security selection to construct portfolios with targeted duration, credit quality, yield, and risk/return profile.
- Monitor risk and help optimize accounts to model portfolio characteristics.
- Assist with tactical and strategic asset allocation decisions across sectors of the fixed income market.
- Assist fixed income PM with managing cash across 1000+ separately managed accounts.
- Use order management system to assist with trade allocations and trade entry.
- Create monthly and ad hoc fixed income reports as requested.
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in fixed income trading, research or support a plus.
- Numerical and analytical skillset with very strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Background with portfolio management systems / Bloomberg a plus.
