The Annuity Product Manager will support the Annuity Product Management and Development Team in all aspects of the design, development, maintenance, launch, and sale of Guardian’s annuities working with large and diverse multi-functional teams and outside business partners and vendors.
You will
Assist Product Managers with Product Development and Enhancement
- Develop specifications for new products and enhancements to existing products.
- Review contract, rider, and prospectus language for consistency with product specifications.
- Review marketing material and manage internal distribution and access of final material.
- Build and maintain illustration systems and monthly illustration reports.
- Submitting vendor invoices for approval and processing.
- Problem resolution and exception request reviews.
Product Training Materials and Delivery Systems
- Create, review, and maintain agent product training courses on external vendor website.
- Manage access and entitlement rules on external vendor website and feeds to internal Guardian systems by identifying coding rules and requirements based on business needs.
Application and Forms Management
- Liaison with Product Managers, Marketing, Distribution, Operations, Law Department, Product Filing, and Compliance to obtain comments and sign-off on the creation, modification, and/or maintenance of all annuity applications and forms.
- Respond to Operations and Compliance requests by creating, improving, and/or modifying forms to administer and service existing contracts, and obtain the appropriate comments and sign-off.
Assist with Fixed Annuity Rate Setting
- Assist with loading of New Business FIA, RILA, SPIA, DIA, and SPDA rates in various systems.
- Update spreadsheets for In-Force rates using rate data provided by Investments/Actuarial.
You have
Understanding of annuity product features and designs.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Experience: 3+ years in financial services
- Proficient skill level in MS Office
- Education: BA/BS+ or equivalent experience
Preferred
- Annuity product launch/support experience
- Sales or sales support experience
Salary Range
$101,180.00 - $166,220.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
