The Marketing Senior Director of Transformation & Innovation is a pivotal role, supporting the Chief Marketing Officer in driving the strategic and operational initiatives of the marketing function. This senior director-level position requires a proactive leader who can lead and manage cross-functional projects, drive change, optimize the marketing operational cadence, and drive strategic initiatives supporting the CMO. The ideal candidate will possess superior organizational and communication skills, mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and demonstrated experience in leading complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Director of Transformation & Innovation your key responsibilities will be:
Operational Cadence: Develop, implement, and monitor goals and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure strategic alignment and accountability within the marketing function. Drive the marketing operational cadence in partnership with the CMO, including organizing leadership meetings, QBRs, town halls, and other key events
Analytical Insights: Conduct detailed analyses to generate data-driven insights and actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making and marketing optimization.
Organizational Effectiveness: Collaborate with leadership to assess and refine organizational processes, enhancing efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate the successful adoption of new initiatives, processes, and cultural shifts within the marketing team.
Innovation and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous process improvement to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing operations.
Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives within the marketing function, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration across teams.
Project Management: Plan, initiate, and deliver complex projects with cross-functional requirements. Actively lead all phases of projects, influence team members, and ensure alignment towards project goals.
Communication: Effectively communicate complex ideas across multiple organizational levels, adapting style to reflect changing circumstances and stakeholder needs.
Business Knowledge: Develop and maintain broad knowledge of related functional areas across the business. Interact with senior leadership.
Holistic Perspective: Take a holistic view when addressing opportunities, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Director of Transformation & Innovation, if your background includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial and/or operational experience, including implementation of cross-functional projects in a technology or matrix organizational environment
Proven experience in a similar role, with demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional projects.
Superior communication skills, with the ability to distill high volumes of information into concise, relevant reports.
Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

The base compensation range varies across locations. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $151,700 - $281,700. Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $131,000 - $243,400. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the base compensation range for this role is $137,900 - $256,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
