About
I see things that others somehow miss. Vulture hedge funds that specialize in capital structure arbitrage deploy me to ferret out ground level observations and operational deficiencies that hinder securities pricing.
Logos change. Promotions happen. Feelings get hurt, and people get fired for underperformance. Entire senior management teams have been replaced "from my kitchen" according to Post Advisory. GSO Blackstone called me "the axe in Resto" for my short piece on RH stock, while interviewing for buyside jobs in CA. I write and teach with visuals and stories that stick.
Many industries lurk in my resume unrecognized. Pretium Partners (Fundamental REO) asked me to perform luxury real estate valuations, which all landed between 85-120 bps of the eventual trade values.
I started at Bear Stearns at 17 in 1985 on the junk desk then clerked wires on the NYSE. I know how the sausage is made, as they say on the floor, with a tangible familiarity with the underwriting, syndication, trading, sales, analysis and default of both fixed income and equity securities.
