About
As an experienced finance professional and lawyer, I add value by helping companies identify and mitigate risk. I have strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Bloomberg API. I can dissect legal documents and use them to build dynamic financial models.
I began my career at State Street Bank in Boston before moving to HSBC in New York. I then gained experience as a derivatives trade support analyst at Imagine Software—one of the top financial risk management firms in the world. After law school I worked at a boutique litigation firm doing research on securities class action lawsuits. I then worked at Wellington Management as an analyst utilizing both my finance and legal backgrounds. Currently, I'm a legal technology consultant working on Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and counterparty netting analysis.
I decided to go to law school after the global financial crisis of 2007-2008 to gain a better understanding of the increasingly complex regulatory framework financial institutions operate under. I passed both the New York and Massachusetts bar exams on my first attempt.
