About
The best M&A strategies accelerate growth, diversify product portfolios, and elevate market share, catapulting competitive edge and achieving synergies while mitigating risk. Defining clear goals and objectives is critical. As a creative problem solver and organizer of chaos by nature, I thrive on this challenge, empowering best-in-class integration teams to simplify complexities and championing prioritization and solutioning to account for capacity for change, degree of investment required, and the people, processes, and systems involved.
Over the course of my distinguished career, I have determined optimal M&A opportunities, yielded substantial returns on investment, and contributed to post-integration revenue growth. Some notable achievements include:
• Facilitating over 40 retention acquisitions with efficacious integration completions and a collective >90% employee retention rate.
• Engineering a sustainable integration process for Cordance, creating a bridge from planning to effective close by developing end-to-end integration playbooks, integration-to-operations handover processes, and hypercare support repeatable for all integrations and utilized for a dozen acquisitions ranging from $2M to $10M+.
• Expanded growth by >65% through effective integration execution in 2 years
• Leading IBM’s Integration Management Office, piloting 20+ acquisitions encompassing startups to multibillion-dollar global entities, including IBM’s largest IT integration in history with the $34B acquisition of Red Hat enterprise open-source solutions.
