The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Advanced analytics excel capabilities is a must.
- Ability to summarize complex concepts with clear and succinct writing and/or data visualization.
- Prior compensation experience, preferably in a consultative capacity.
- Adaptability to navigate ambiguous problems and drive toward recommended solutions in a collaborative environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and frequent collaboration to execute flawlessly.
The Compensation Consultant
- Serves as a consultant to management in aligned business unit regarding policy and compensation interpretation, as well as in the annual salary planning process. Implements compensation programs, following established standards and policies so these programs are administered effectively and in accordance with the compensation strategy.
- Plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, following established standards and policies so these programs are administered effectively and in accordance with regulations. Integrates compensation to support transformations and other critical talent strategies to meet the organization's goals and competitive practices.
- Manages job evaluations, salary surveys, and all analytical reporting to prepare recommendations and determine pay trends based on findings. Owns market competitive benchmarking for defined business area and its application to compensation practices and strategies.
- Reviews reports and audits the organization's compensation programs to ensure they are consistently administered in compliance with the organization's policies and government regulations.
- Coaches and contributes to the development of compensation analysts.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What It Takes
- Five years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Progress toward CCP preferred.
