Broadridge is Growing. We are seeking a Settlements Consultant to join our team in Newark, New Jersey.
Basic Purpose/Description: Monitor, analyze and process transactions to insure accurate and timely settlement and reconcile clients’ accounts vs the settling bank
Job Responsibilities:
- Working on the client’s internal systems to monitor trades, pre-settlement, and settlement date activities.
- Perform general reconciliation activities.
- Escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management, when necessary.
- Research, resolve and report all discrepancies.
- Keep client apprised of transactional status.
- Follow all procedures maintaining firms stated internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College Degree or relevant experience
- Domestic Settlement; Fed or DTC knowledge
- Back-office operations
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Quick Learner that can adapt to a growing business
- Strong customer service orientation
- Hourly range $30-40/hr
