Job Title: Director, Digital Marketing

Reports To: Vice President, Head of Digital Marketing

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
Digital Analytics and Insights:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of digital data to inform marketing strategies including analyzing data from email and lead generation, social media, earned media, and website traffic to derive actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports with tools like Power BI and Salesforce dashboard reports, for Marketing, Sales and executive stakeholders, to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and then lead cross-functional discussion of results and insights gained.
Project Management for Site Development:
- Lead and manage digital marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. Includes site launches, site reviews and enhancements, and tool development and launch.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, product, channel marketing, corporate communications, and content, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Site Optimization Including User Experience (UX) And SEO
- Conduct UX research and testing to identify areas for improvement on the firm’s digital platform and implement UX best practices to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the firm’s digital assets. Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and monitor SEO performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Digital Expertise and Competitive Knowledge
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and optimizing digital marketing processes and strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the firm’s digital marketing efforts innovative and effective.
- Monitor competitor site and digital activity to ensure firm is aligned to emerging best practices and client expectations
- Provide recommendations for strategic adjustments based on data-driven insights.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate digital marketing performance and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Work directly with external digital agency, IT and other lead stakeholders including technical and non-technical associates to ensure cross-team collaboration
Collaboration within Digital Marketing Team:
- Partner with other members of the digital marketing team, including email marketing, web publishing, and content development to ensure all digital marketing priorities and deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in digital analytics including using Google Analytics and tools such as Power BI and Salesforce to develop dashboards and ongoing reporting for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to lead cross-functional discussions on analytics to derive insights and identify areas for continual improvement.
- User experience (UX) knowledge to identify areas of improvement on digital platforms along with experience developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve search rankings and drive site engagement.
- Experience with and working knowledge of digital marketing platforms including Salesforce, Pardot, and WordPress.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to communicate with technical and non-technical teammates at a range of levels from executive committee to peers on the digital marketing team.
- Project management experience ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the firm’s strategic goals, while coordinating with cross-functional teams including IT, design, product, channel marketing, communications, distribution and executive leadership when necessary.
- Ability to focus on detailed project deliverables while maintaining a big-picture focus.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred but not required
