Overview
The Investment Operations Middle Office Trade Support Team manages an array of oversight responsibilities including CRIMS (Charles River) cash control, settlements, reconciliations, transfers, corporate actions, collateral management, and trade life-cycle event management.
As we transition onto the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), LGIMA is seeking a candidate to serve as a Middle Office Sr Analyst. The candidate will focus on the development of the MO support function and will partner with stakeholders to help define roles and responsibilities and implement a broader more robust support model.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight support for a wide range of products including domestic and international (including emerging markets) Equity, FX, fixed income, and derivative products.
- Provide first level diagnostic support and processing of non-economic cancel/rebooks in CRIMS for all product types.
- Track and document CRIMS issues from root cause analysis thru remediation.
- Assist in development of MO staff by providing CRIMS training.
- Partner with Technology and the business to support development of improved product templates, customize the CRIMS product road map.
- Contribute to on-going process improvement initiatives to add further control and organization around the trade life cycle.
- Work with custodian banks to resolve issues impacting LGIMA and mutual clients.
- Provide periodic control summaries for management review.
- Monitor the daily and weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly.
- Proactively identify control weaknesses relating to trade services operating model and recommend and implement procedural and process change in partnership with team.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of Securities Industry Middle Office experience with extensive knowledge of CRIMS.
- Experience working with and overseeing third party relationship service delivery.
- Familiarity with investment guidelines and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritize workload and deal with tight deadlines.
- Ability to articulate issues clearly, either verbally or written, across all levels.
- Experience leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Ability to document procedures and controls.
Salary Range
$85,000 - $105,000
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus plan.
