At MA Capital, we are looking for individuals with a passion for the work in their field of expertise and invite you to join our systematic trading teams in the capacity of a Quant Researcher.
In this role you will conduct research on alpha signals and execution strategies, using the Scientific Method, exercising rigor, and producing objective results. Our purpose-built infrastructure aimed at supporting your research effort and research experience is in continuous improvement, with feedback from end users having direct impact on new features and improvements.

The ideal fit are candidates that have a background in research or work experience in the following subject matter:
- Solving PDE (partial differential equations) using quantitative programming.
- Stochastic modeling experience.
- Various distributions like log normal, normal distribution etc., and then using them to model and derive relationships on large data sets.
- Experience in performing Monte Carlo simulations on datasets using C++.
- Strong knowledge of commonly used asset pricing models like Random Walk, Garch etc.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in the following is highly desired:
1) ML, DL, and Neural Nets
2) C++
3) Competency in developing scalable and reproducible data pipelines
- Prior experience in finance, while a positive trait, is not a requirement - we will mentor you.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
While candidates with a PhD or master's degree with strong research experience are preferred, all candidates with exceptional knowledge of C++ are of interest to us.
