Adams Street Partners is seeking a Private Credit Fund Accountant to join the Finance team in New York. Our Fund Accountants gain a broad range of investment accounting exposure by providing accounting support for the Firm’s private credit investment activities.
Specifically, this individual is responsible for various functions within the private credit investment accounting group including:
- Review of annual audit reports and quarterly financial statements and capital accounts prepared by the third-party administrator
- Review the quarterly valuation of private credit fund program investments and coordinate with the third-party administrator to record the valuations
- Participate in the cash reconciliation process and review of cash reconciliations prepared by the third-party administrator
- Assist in the onboarding of new funds and separate accounts with the third-party administrator
- Coordinate and prepare responses to requests from the private credit investment team, client service team and investors
- Completion of special projects as they arise
Requirements
We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting is required
- 6+ of total experience with a minimum of 4 years of relevant private credit accounting experience working at a private credit manager or a fund accounting administrator
- CPA preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as Adobe Acrobat
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision within a team environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
NYC Pay Range
$120,000—$175,000 USD
