Job Title: Corporate FP&A, Analyst
Job Description:
The Global Financial Planning & Analysis Group performs analyses and financial reporting of Firmwide results and originates and executes strategic Firm initiatives. The team works closely with Blackstone management to perform corporate finance analysis.
- Prepare, consolidate and analyze Blackstone’s financial forecast and weekly reporting for senior management
- Prepare, collect, consolidate and analyze Blackstone’s financial results as part of the quarterly earnings process
- Conduct financial analysis on Blackstone’s business units and corporate groups
- Financial modeling/valuation analysis
- Draft presentations and memorandums for senior management
- Partner with Business Finance and Investor Relations teams for client and investor meetings and inquiries
- Implement new processes/systems, creating operational efficiencies and reporting enhancements
- Prepare quarterly board and audit committee packages, analyze call materials and Senior Managing Director presentations
- Aid in the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and new business analyses
- Conduct research on competitors’ earnings and financial analysis
- Provide analysis and support to the CFO and Management on an ad-hoc basis
- Special projects in support of the Blackstone’s businesses
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; strong academic record
- FP&A, management reporting or advisory services experience preferred
- Strong technical, analytical, financial modeling and quantitative skills
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with Essbase, Anaplan or Tableau is a plus
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment; proactive and takes initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a positive attitude
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Effective at building professional relationships with internal and external counterparties

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 - $125,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
