Bloomberg's Supply Chain business is a dynamic global organization, providing support to our internal and external customers through Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Warehousing, operating out of 22 global locations and distributing our equipment to over 190 countries. We work hand-in-hand with our businesses to support them in achieving success and maintaining efficiency. We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain team at Bloomberg. We are looking for an individual who will be an integral member of the team, driving data-driven problem-solving activities amongst all the supply chain departments, and serve as a key change agent to drive process standardization and improvement. The Supply Chain Business Analyst will be hands-on in business analysis, influencing strategic and tactical decision-making in the department. In addition, this person will be responsible for communicating success metrics for the department, as well as installing routines to close performance gaps in conjunction with key department leaders. A successful candidate will have experience using technologies that provide data visualization insights (such as Qliksense, PowerBI), SAP reporting (BW), transactions and automation, as well as process and project management capabilities.
We Will Trust You To
- Extract, manipulate and review data to aid our operational decisions, which includes root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Collect Regional and Global KPIs, and consolidate them in a way to drive decisions and remove roadblocks to support our unique Supply Chain operation
- Constantly look for improvement opportunities on how we use data and ways to automate it.
- Support the development and presentation of strategic plans for the Supply Chain organization
- Share insights with the management team through reporting and creation of meaningful dashboards to drive decisions
- Provide periodic reporting on business plans and strategic initiatives to a variety of audiences
- Support the Supply Chain organization in its efforts to standardize current E2E processes and install governance to minimize process variations (Business Process Management: Process Mapping and Process Mining).
- Understand how data is used by various Bloomberg products and customers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement regional and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Manage sustainability data ingestion, normalization and reporting
You Will Need To Have
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role in supply chain operations
- Demonstrated experience in planning activities ana/or FP&A including but not limited to forecasting, BW data extraction and automation, presentation of analyses, and final budget requirements
- Great analytical skills and creative problem solving, showing the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP BW/AO and integration of data visualization tools (i.e. Lumira, Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI) to drive decision making and reporting.
- The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and tracing root causes
- The ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams and facilitate interactions with upper management
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with a consistent record of accomplishment in presenting findings to senior management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent
- FP&A experience will be proffered
