Who You Are
As a
Senior Trainer, you will define, develop, and deliver learning solutions to internal Wealth Management partners as a part of the Change Enablement and Execution Team. You have strong knowledge of learning and development strategy and creative learning applications to develop creative e-learning. You also have and the ability to deliver live training and outreach, and direct Q&A sessions. Training expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is beneficial. You have worked in the financial services industry and are at least familiar with some of the business functions such as account opening, money movement, document sharing, CRM systems, trust or investments. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and ever pivoting Agile environment. Furthermore, you have:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to interface and train all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
- Strong instructional design and/or organization development skills with ability to modify approach for a variety of needs and audiences.
- Technical ability to build learning deliverables using software such as Articulate (Rise and Storyline), Captivate, Toonimo and Adobe Premiere Pro
- A demonstrated proactive and persistent approach to work while driving open items to completion consistently and independently
- Ability to coach and motivate users and audiences to overcome hesitations in change and implement new skills as common practice
- Awareness of Agile development methodologies, including MVP definition and product roadmap planning techniques is a plus
- Strong ability to extract data and analyze metrics for accurate audience and market reach
- Knowledge in the financial services industry with ability to understand basic financial processes across platforms

Senior Training Consultant, you will:
- Work with management, performance consultants and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning and organization development objectives
- Work with stakeholders to determine appropriate learning methodologies and organization development solutions
- Develop project plans including the identification of subject matter experts where appropriate
- Develop and facilitate/deliver learning and/or e-learning ,and organization development programs
- Maintain an inventory of training and organization development programs/tools and schedules their use according to management priorities
- Represent the department in various meetings
- Assist with process implementation by using metrics driven solutions

Salary Range
$95,600 - 162,400 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
