Overview
The Infrastructure & Energy Financing, Americas (I&E) desk sits within Deutsche Bank’s Private Credit & Infrastructure group. A principal lending platform providing debt capital across a variety of industries. I&E is seeking to add an Associate to the team to carry out the key responsibilities that are outlined below. I&E provides bespoke project financing and corporate financing solutions supported by assets and cash flows in the power, energy, infrastructure, and core+ industries.

What You’ll Do
Underwrite private credit opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sector, with a deep focus on fundamental credit diligence and market drivers
Deal execution, spanning sponsor and management team engagement, negotiation, structuring, and syndication
Lead transaction approvals with internal functions such as investment committee and credit risk management
Build financial models, size debt, run sensitivities, and analyze cash flow coverages and other relevant debt metrics
Analyze project documents and third-party consultant reports
Participate in ongoing risk management and company performance oversight

Skills You’ll Need
Proven direct experience with modeling and underwriting private credit in energy, power, renewables and/or infrastructure
Demonstrated track record of credit analysis
Solid understanding of project finance structures, including debt and tax equity
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent communication and client facing skills
Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities, and intellectual curiosity
BA or master’s in economics, business, engineering, or law obtained at a top tier university
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $328K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
