Group Description: The IEDA team sits within Evercore’s broader Infrastructure & Energy Transition Advisory group and is responsible for covering a broad range of corporate clients, financial sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds across the infrastructure, energy transition and digital infrastructure sectors. Key asset classes include, but not limited to, ports, airports, toll roads, parking, data centers, fiber, towers, renewable energy, conventional power producers, clean technology, and utilities.
What is the position? Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Senior Analyst for its Infrastructure & Energy Debt Advisory group (“IEDA”) located in New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities: Evercore’s differentiated approach to advisory provides the candidate the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming transactions around the world. The small transaction team structure creates a strong platform for the candidate to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments, including executing debt advisory mandates and M&A transactions across the capital structure.
Specific Qualifications: The candidate will be ambitious, self-directed, technically adept, creative, resourceful, and is passionately interested in a career in investment banking. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm and team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Undergraduate degree required
- 2+ years of investment banking experience, preferably with experience in the infrastructure, energy and digital sectors, credit / debt markets or in project finance
- An excellent, team-based attitude
- Strong work ethic and high energy level
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Complex financial modelling ability
- Calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Meticulous attention to detail and an interest in finance and credit markets

Expected Base Salary: $140,000
