Expense Analysis Associate - FP&A
Responsibilities:
- Support VP, Expense Analysis, in preparation of Senior Management monthly and quarterly expense analysis and presentations
- Support development and maintenance of financial models for various expense areas
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Create insightful analyses for both ad hoc requests and regular reporting
- Design and build presentations, including charts and schedules for expense reporting and analysis
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to expense management
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience within financial services
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments and deadline driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word
- Knowledge in additional systems/applications including PeopleSoft, Essbase, Qliksense and/or Board a plus
- Ability to identify discrepancies in expense data and addressing them promptly
- Ability to work with large data sets and merge data from various sources to build meaningful analysis
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Accounting preferred
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $90,000 - $110,000
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
