Position Overview
The Americas Treasury Lead will be joining a rapidly evolving Global Treasury team and responsible for overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the Americas treasury teams across all lines of business. This includes oversight and management of teams handling deal funding support, distributions and balance sheet funding.
The scope of responsibilities also includes cash and liquidity management, payments, building strategic partnerships with banks and leading critical strategic initiatives across the Americas Treasury Platform. As a member of the Global Treasury Leadership team, the Americas Treasury Lead will play a critical role in partnering across regions to deliver best in class service and an institutionalized Treasury operating platform.
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic vision and leadership for the Americas Treasury function
- Ensure efficient and secure payment processes, implement robust internal controls, and prevent fraud
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, oversee daily cash operations, and lead forecasting initiatives
- Maintain relationships with banking partners, optimize account structures, and negotiate service agreements
- Manage and mentor the treasury team, foster professional growth, and align global best practices
- Actively partner with key stakeholders on a number of critical strategic and “BAU support” oriented initiatives (key stakeholders include Finance, Operations, Deal Teams, Client Services, Client and Partner Group, HR, and more)
- Contribute to Global Treasury thought leadership, strategic planning, automation and process development
- Manage the implementation and execution of the Global Treasury Business plan for the Americas region
- Partner with technology to deliver key foundational infrastructure projects for the Treasury team
- Participate in cross-functional leadership meetings supporting new fund product development and launches
- Oversight of policy compliance and adoption across governance tools
- Develop KPI’s related to team and individual performance
- Lead the development of internal and external marketing materials related to Treasury responsibilities and value-add
- Ad hoc project support
Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate level education with a strong academic record
- Seasoned professional with 10+ years’ experience in Asset Management related Treasury, Treasury Operations, Banking, multinational corporate treasury function or similar
- Knowledge of Private Markets, Real Estate, Credit, Security & FX Settlements, fund leverage, and the investment management industry is critical
- Very good understanding of cash management, banking products, and financial instruments
- Change management experience is a strong plus
- An interest in improving processes through technology
- Treasury management system, data warehouse/lake, and data analysis experience is considered valuable

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$200,000—$245,000 USD
