Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations Analyst in Toronto or Montreal. The Analyst will play an integral role within the Investor Relations team by supporting client relationships, preparing materials, and managing data critical to our fundraising efforts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Investment & Operational Due Diligence: Coordinate investment and operational due diligence requests from investors and consultants and produce due diligence materials such as presentations, DDQs, RFPs, and other data requests.
- Data Management & Reporting: Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of performance data to reporting databases and deliverables to investors.
- Technology & CRM Management: Maintain and optimize various technology systems and tools used by the Investor Relations team including CRM systems (e.g. DealCloud), diligence response repositories (e.g. DiligenceVault), investor portals, and virtual data rooms.
- Investor Market Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market and investor research using tools such as Preqin, With Intelligence, and Pitchbook to support fundraising and distribution efforts.
- Investor Material Preparation: Prepare and coordinate documents for internal and external stakeholders, including quarterly reports, LPAC and ad-hoc investor materials, and marketing presentations, in collaboration with investment, finance, and legal teams.
- Private Wealth Support: Collaborate with our Private Wealth team to ensure seamless operational support for accredited investor channels, including tracking fund flows, preparing monthly reports, and liaising with fund administrators and external counsel to maintain timely and compliant documentation.
- Fundraising Support: Assist Capital Formation and Private Wealth teams in prospect tracking, client outreach, and other business development initiatives, as well as ad-hoc projects to drive fundraising goals.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business administration, commerce, finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of professional experience in investor relations, financial services, consulting or marketing
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong financial and business acumen, including a firm grasp of financial metrics and the ability to analyze and present complex financial and operational information
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of multi-tasking with strong attention to detail and accuracy in work output
- Excellent organizational and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and strategic with strong technical and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work closely with various teams across the company
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and collaborate within a team.
