The Office of Business Management is within GA’s Global Chief Business Office (CBO), which is responsible for driving GA’s revenue generation and growth in market share across business lines in partnership with the GA Global Client Coverage team. The Office of Business Management is responsible for the oversight and execution of the CBO’s growth agenda and strategic initiatives, driving alignment and cohesion across GA.
The VP 2, Business Management Specialist, within the Office of Business Management is responsible for driving and oversight of the execution of business line and functional strategies of the CBO, working to drive alignment and cohesion across the GA
Specifically, the VP 2, Business Management Specialist will be responsible for:
- Support the implementation and execution of business line strategic growth initiatives of the Chief Business Office, identifying objectives and key outcomes, business needs and implications, and resource and financial requirements
- Work with key stakeholders across GA and the State Street enterprise to execute on and deliver strategic initiatives and objectives, using project management expertise to plan, manage, execute and finish projects
- Monitor, track and report progress of the business line strategic growth initiatives against the CBO’s objectives identifying, communicating and solutioning for potential gaps to inform and/or drive decision making
- Communicate business line strategic objectives and initiatives to drive awareness and alignment across GA, to enable planning and execution and to influence outcomes towards the achievement of objectives
- Build strong relationships across CBO and GA in support of and to assist with the execution and implementation of the CBO’s growth objectives and initiatives
- Oversight and/or coordinate various CBO business operations and/or activities to achieve objectives and goals
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and a track record of success including:
- Strong experience (7-10 years) in the asset management industry or related financial services experience
- BA | BS or equivalent degree, preferably with a financial or business discipline
- Significant project management experience including experience managing complex projects involving high levels of uncertainty, multiple stakeholders, intricate dependencies and various levels of risk
- Experience with developing and implementing business line and/or functional strategy
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage expectations in a fast paced, complex environment
- An ability to utilize critical thinking, analyzing, questioning, and evaluating information to make a judgement or decision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to succinctly and effectively deliver key information and messages for consumption by various stakeholder groups
- The ability to work independently as well as to build and develop relationships and to work collaboratively to influence and/or build consensus
- Strong executive presence to inspire confidence and outcomes
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills

Salary Range
$115,000 - $190,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
