Responsibilities
Support the Investment Management Business in new business line and product launches. The team will serve as the central point of contact within Finance.
- Oversee Global Investment Management new product and new business launches from a Finance perspective
- Partner with the business to support strategic initiatives and product growth Develop knowledge of Investment Management and apply knowledge to creating business reviews and reports
- Oversee development of robust new product reporting based on key metrics
- Analyze impact of new products on business unit financials
- Work on a variety of initiatives supporting the business agenda Represent Finance at new product meetings and committees
- Coordinate across Finance to ensure all necessary requirements are met in regards to product launches
- Review legal agreements to understand impact from a Finance perspective and ensure terms have been
- implemented accordingly
- Support the business unit firm capital committee forecasting and approval processes
- Responsible for managing one direct report
- Exercise leadership and effective management to motivate and develop staff
- Respond to requests related to new products and associated processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of work experience
- Results-oriented with capacity and desire to work both at a strategic and detailed analysis level
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Ambitious, self-motivated individual, strong work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong partnership skills and ability to interact across different support groups
- Technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Effective time management and ability to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure situations, and balance multiple tasks
Role will require in office attendance 3-5 days/week.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 120,000 and 200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
